The Sermon on the Mount is full of many well known teachings of Jesus. However, the sermon is more than a moral and ethical ideal laid out by Jesus. Instead, the sermon on the Mount reveals the life of a believer that is a part of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is concerned with the heart of the believer that is devoted to Jesus as Savior and depending on the Holy Spirit to walk in the ways of righteousness. I pray our journey through this sermon of Jesus will bring about transformation and obedience to the righteousness of Christ!
